Analyst/Associate

Agile Capital Partners (ACP) is a boutique real estate capital markets advisory and investment firm focused on special situations assets and development. The firm focuses exclusively on debt and debt like investments including non-performing and performing loans, A/B piece bifurcation,structured equity and rescue capital. To date the firms’ mangment team has participated in over $1B in transactions.

We are currently seeking an experienced analyst or associate to join our team, dedicated to leading the underwriting process for both our potential investments and those of our clients. the primary responsibilities of this role include collaborating with the team to underwrite deals, perform complex financial modeling, and manage due diligence processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as this role involves interactions with capital partners, lenders, sponsors, and brokers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Underwrite complex new opportunities, encompassing Holdco portfolio level investments, preferred equity, loan equity, portfolio                     restructuring, construction loans, non-performing loan acquisitions, and rescue equity.
• Perform and effectively analyze in-depth market research.
• Develop and maintain financial models with sensitivity analysis and waterfall structures.
• Prepare complex analysis in support of client and firm requests.
• Oversee the due diligence process for potential transactions.

SKILLS + ABILITIES:
• Excellent analytical abilities / quantitative skills
• Effective communication and business writing skills
• Ability to work beyond the typical 40-hour work week with occasional weekends.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA is a plus
• Strong understanding of the real estate development process

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in experience at a commercial real estate finance and or investment company. Completion of a real estate financial modeling certificate course is a plus
• Demonstrated live deal experience.
• Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills utilizing MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent critical thinking, judgment, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
• Highly developed sense of responsibility and initiative.
