Senior Associate, Development

Killian Pacific is looking for a highly talented, driven, and community-focused real estate professional to join our Development team in Portland.  The Senior Associate is an integral part of the Development team, one of the company’s five functional areas which include Development, Design, Asset Management, Finance, and Operations.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for leading and executing all underwriting and analysis related to Killian Pacific’s ground-up development and redevelopment projects from the initial stages to delivery across multifamily and commercial asset types.  This role reports to the Director of Development.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute and maintain analysis and complex financial models for all development-related efforts including ground-up development and redevelopment projects across multifamily, office, and retail projects.
    • Provide support in preparation of Investment Committee memorandums, present analysis to the Investment Committee, and address any questions.
    • Ensure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of analysis that precedes business decisions at both the property and enterprise levels.
  • Collaborate laterally with the Finance, Operations, and Portfolio Management teams as required.
    • Underwriting support to assist with debt procurement/compliance, investor and lender reporting, and enterprise-level planning.
    • Annual and quarterly financial reporting support.
    • Assist with JV investor reports and analysis.
    • Provide proforma and analysis support, and peer reviews (proforma integrity oversight) for the Finance, Operations, and Portfolio Management teams.

  • Passionate about the Killian Pacific vision and be capable of representing the Killian ethos across all interactions.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
