The Asset Manager will work directly with the Sr. VP, Asset Management and responsibilities will include:
-Assist with due diligence and underwriting during acquisitions including review of financial reports, market research, service contracts, permits / licenses, management agreements, insurance, engineering and environmental reports
-Oversee, monitor and work with property management to ensure properties are within or exceed budget
-Track capital projects, provide project updates and coordinate with property management as needed
-Prepare monthly reports to investors / lenders, including property financials
-Oversee the annual budget process
-Prepare and present executive summaries for the portfolio including performance metrics, variance reports, and liquidity
-Review loan documents for Borrower Compliance including financial covenants, borrower covenants, reserve funding, etc.
-Evaluate and monitor investment strategy by identifying and analyzing benchmarks
-Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
-At least 5 years of asset management experience in an institutional environment.
-Diverse background with office, multi-family, hotel experience preferred
-Proficiency in Argus, Microsoft Office Suite
-Must have an understanding of accounting procedures and financial reports
-Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents, leases, financial reports and contracts
-Excellent oral and written communication skills required
-Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
