Summary of Role: Alliance is seeking a Director of Investor Relations ( IR Director ) with a focus on equity sourcing, investor relationship management, and reporting. Specifically, the IR Director will be responsible for outreach, marketing and external communications of the firm s current and future investment opportunities. Given the technical nature of the firm s projects, the position will involve detailed reporting on project and investment risks, criteria, status and performance. In addition, the IR Director will cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective investors, including institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals. The IR Director will work closely with the Alliance team in maintaining an up-to-date, working knowledge of the firm s activities and in developing the firm s branding and external messaging to the investment community. This newly created role offers high performing candidates the opportunity to grow and be promoted to senior levels within the organization. Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Prospect for potential new investors in joint venture, programmatic, and/or fund structures with aim of securing meetings between prospective investors and Alliance principals.
  • Pitch and present current Alliance investment opportunities to third-party institutional, family office and high net worth investors as part of ongoing equity sourcing efforts.
  • Manage investor relationships full cycle with the goal of maintaining and cultivating the firm s investor base for future transactions; proactively track prospective and existing relationships via CRM database
  • Collaborate with Alliance management in development of firm s brand and marketing message creating presentations, pitch decks, investor memos and other marketing communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment committee presentations and partner memorandums.
  • Maintain active dialog and communications with Alliance management, capital markets, acquisitions, leasing and accounting professionals in developing an active working knowledge of the firm s strategies, activities and performance.

  • Ability to deliver concise and persuasive messages to articulate complex financial and quantitative concepts in easily digestible terms for investors including investment strategies, projected returns, property characteristics, competitive positioning, market statistics and trends, financial metrics and investment returns / performance.
  • Manages multiple projects and time well; spearheads multiple client relationships and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who is equally able to work independently as well as part of a team offering quantifiable performance objectives, transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:   Required:
  • Bachelor s degree in business, finance, or marketing.
  • At least seven to ten years of experience in marketing, sales, business development and/or investor relations.
  • Fluency with basic financial, investment, and accounting/reporting concepts.
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in real estate, investment banking, asset management, or financial services.
  • Prior experience in sales and/or business development as well as in interfacing with investors and/or an institutional client base; demonstrable track record of meeting objective performance criteria a plus.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
  • Well connected among Greater Philadelphia real estate and general investment communities.
  • MBA or related Master s degree.
Salary & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: Competitive with other private real estate companies in Philadelphia area
  • Bonus: Candidate will be eligible for discretionary deal-by-deal bonuses and/or participation as well as an annual year-end, performance-based bonus
