Description
The City of Marysville, Ohio (Union County, which is the fastest growing county in Ohio), is seeking a motivated and engaging professional to fill the role of City Planner. This position performs as a technical expert in the planning field and as a liaison to the City's Planning Commission and Design Review Board.
The primary duties of this position include:
- Community Planning and Development
- Private Development Oversight
- Effective communication
- Implementation of Land Use, Development and Growth Plans
- Funding Program Administration.
Candidates shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree in City and Regional Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or related field. Candidates shall also have five (5) years of professional land use planning experience. The possession of (or ability to obtain) an AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) Certification is strongly desired.
