Investor Relations Coordinator
POSITION LOCATION: Irvine, California
COMPANY: Essex Property Trust (NYSE: ESS), a fully integrated real estate investment trust (REIT) that acquires, develops, redevelops, and manages multifamily residential properties in selected West Coast markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Company is looking for an Investor Relations Coordinator. This person will be an integral member of the Investor Relations team of a NYSE registrant, assisting with communications and planning activities relating to institutional shareholders. Specific responsibilities will include:
Responsible for preparing and proper dissemination of all news releases, annual reports, and various other investor reports as needed;
Prepare various investor presentations which require strong attention to detail, solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and a keen understanding of the overall Company strategy
Assist with quarterly earnings conference calls including preparing prep materials for the calls
Prepare quarterly analysis of the Company’s top shareholders and the multifamily peers
Handle the scheduling of all conferences and non-deal roadshows for the executive team
Maintain the Investor Relations website
Various other analysis to support the general department functions as requested
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum of 3 years of related real estate experience, preferably in Investor Relations, Marketing or Finance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills are required and should include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks at the same time
COMPENSATION: Pay commensurate with experience.
