Job Summary
This is not an IT systems job. We are searching for a driven self-starter who thrives on autonomy and would take pride in working on complex, once in a lifetime projects. The preferred candidate will possess problem solving and communications skills and five to seven years of experience supporting teams that are working on mission critical construction projects such as data centers, hospitals, network operations centers, or laboratories.
Our role is complete Owner Representation, including the development and management of all aspects of the scope, budget, and schedule for our projects. PMs are expected to take an active role, being responsible and accountable for timely and cost-effective delivery of projects through all phases of a project including, project justification, requirements definition, funding, programming, site selection, team sourcing and structure, budgeting, scheduling, design development, permitting, bid leveling, value engineering, construction administration, and commissioning.
Ideal candidates will be expected to manage multiple projects at one time in various phases of development. This position oversees all coordination, supervision and internal/external communications to the client and its general contractors, subcontractors and vendors as it supports contract obligations. This position calls for continuous evaluation of team effectiveness; delivering projects in a timely and cost-effective manner, to serve the business goals of CBRE and our clients.

TRAVEL: As the Owner's Representative, PMs are expected to travel approximately one to two days per week depending on the phase and specific demands of a project.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training, education, and experience in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field to the Construction Industry).
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
