We are looking to hire an experienced Vice President, Asset Management, who will assume a key role in optimizing the value of real estate properties within Realty Income’s portfolio. This position will mainly assess, review, analyze, present, negotiate, and transact the leasing and dispositions opportunities. The Vice President, Asset Management will also work closely with various teams to ensure effective intradepartmental communications.

 

The primary duties of the Vice President, Asset Management include:

 

Working on Leasing and Dispositions Opportunities with Asset Management Team to Optimize the Value of Real Estate Properties:

  • Dispositions: to opportunistically (investment sales) and defensively monetize properties
  • Leasing: to manage lease rollover and re-tenanting activities
  • Transaction activities:
    • Work with brokers on listing properties to lease and/or dispose
    • Favorably negotiate deal terms and contracts in Realty Income’s best interests
    • Monitor and maintain a project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Analytics and Development teams

Managing Asset Management-Related Matters:

  • Assist Senior Vice President, Investments and Head of Asset Management in crafting and implementing the strategic plan on Realty Income’s portfolio of properties
    • Collaborate with Portfolio Analytics to evaluate properties and tenants in the existing portfolio
    • Maintain robust pipeline and up-to-date projections
  • Supervise day-to-day transaction execution
    • Align strategic goals to optimize transaction execution
    • Evaluate transaction structure and economics to ensure each transaction is executed within the company's objectives and risk tolerance
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to execute transactions
    • Drive multiple strategic and business development projects to completion
  • Build relationships and sourcing new transaction opportunities
    • Educate the market on the company’s strategy and asset management criteria

Education, Certifications, and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree: B.S. or B.A. in related field
  • MBA preferred
  • CFA or eligibility preferred
  • Previous work experience: a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience and supervisory experience required
  • Experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, and/or Corporate Development required
