JOB DESCRIPTION:
CBRE Global Investors seeks a Multifamily Asset Management Associate for growing Multi- Family real estate portfolio, based in our Boston office.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in weekly calls with management and follow up on property-specific issues & deadlines as needed. 
  • Insurance claims management - follow up for liability claims, coordinate with management to provide necessary documentation 
  • Site visits / inspections
  • Taxes - helping provide property/financial information to tax consultants and reviewing tax valuations; ensuring tax invoices are approved and provided to management for timely payment
  • Budget / business plan review & comparison to current operations & proforma
  • Develop property strategy to optimize net operating income 
  • Capital projects - review bids for capital improvements, track status/deadlines for lender repairs, gather necessary documentation for release of lender-escrows and insurance proceeds
  • Due diligence during acquisition - on-site due diligence with property management and third-parties; review of market and proforma projections
  • Dispositions - working with brokers and management to insure due diligence documents are available, track sales process
  • Completes asset management sections of reporting requirements with accounting and analyst.
  • Assists with quarterly property valuations and assists with appraisal reviews
  • Revenue Management Programs (YieldStar) - work with management companies to implement programs and calibrate on-going rental rate recommendations
  • Inspired LifeStyle Program - work with management companies to review marketing programs and implement customer service program
  • Respond to client and internal requests for information 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • 4+  Years Multifamily Real Estate experience preferred
  • Yardi and pricing software experience preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree (industry certificates, designations and licenses a plus)
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial analyses
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong market knowledge of each asset and future developments
  • Demonstrates initiative, leadership, team building skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic team environment
