To facilitate our continued portfolio growth, ACORE Capital – one of the largest-scale and most active private debt lenders, exclusively focused on transitional commercial real estate with $15.9 Billion of Assets under Management (AUM) in real estate credit strategies (as of 12/17/2018) - has a need for several motivated, team-oriented Analysts and Associates for its national Asset Management platform in Dallas, Texas. 

These client-facing positions are responsible for protecting and enhancing asset value and investor returns by monitoring, facilitating, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of large, structured, commercial loans, including ground up construction, heavy renovation, moderate renovation, change of use, and repositioning / lease-up of hotel and resort properties, office buildings, apartment / condominium / student and senior housing multifamily properties, retail, mixed-use, and related property types.

Requirements:

  • Applicable accounting, asset management, commercial banking, loan administration, loan servicing, real estate finance, or related experience 
  • Solid analytical skills and a firm understanding of commercial real estate debt and equity markets
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related program)
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, highly accurate; excellent time management skills; able to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively handle multiple competing priorities
  • Great team player with good judgment and strong written and verbal communications skills; plays well at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Argus or coding experience a plus 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous surveillance of structured loans, including assisting in risk rating assigned loans, preparing formal management / investor presentations, and participating in quarterly portfolio previews
  • Review and abstract loan agreements; monitor covenants / critical dates
  • Review / analyze capital and operating budgets, identify balancing events, track leasing activity, prepare and maintain detailed real estate financial projections, quantify performance of assigned loans
  • Manage borrower relationships, participating in quarterly performance review calls and analyzing and processing draw, reserve disbursement, consent, and loan payoff requests
  • Monitor loan servicer activities
