Controller

A commercial real estate and development company is seeking a CPA for the controller position. We are seeking candidates with 7+ years of accounting experience, with previous experience in commercial real estate and/or public accounting. Yardi experience would be preferred. Job duties primarily consist of:

• Maintaining the corporate books
• Reviewing the property financials prepared by the accounting staff
• Meeting various reporting deadlines to investors
• Coordinating the tax preparation with the outside CPA firm
• Updating records on the investor portal

The position comes with a great accounting staff, fully employer-paid health insurance, a 3% employer contribution into a retirement plan, and three weeks starting PTO, plus company holidays.
