Description


The Investment Analyst will join the San Francisco office and will support the Western Region in all functions including asset management, lease analysis, acquisition underwriting, disposition support, market analysis, property valuation, and other analytical and creative functions. The Investment Analyst will become a critical thinker capable of leveraging their use of Argus/Excel, market contacts, and surrounding team to develop and execute various investment strategies.

As the Investment Analyst, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions: 

  • Assist in execution of lease-up or capital repositioning strategies by engaging with various third parties including architects, contractors, leasing and sales brokers, engineers, and legal.
  • Work closely with EQ regional teams, senior leadership, and Blackstone team to develop vision and strategy for both redevelopment of existing assets as well as investment in potential new acquisitions.
  • Prepare accurate, consistent, and timely underwriting and investment analysis utilizing Argus and Excel for various types of additional transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, developments, debt financings and joint ventures.
  • Support due diligence and closing phases for acquisition, and disposition
  • Develop a deep knowledge of various West Coast markets and establish relationships with key contacts in order to maintain library of historical trends
  • Assist in the preparation of company presentations to the EQ senior leadership team and Blackstone.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in the real estate industry
  • Thorough knowledge of Argus, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and show a strong attention to detail

  • Degree in Business or Economics
