Summary/Objective
Renewal Construction, LLC, a major affordable housing residential contractor, with over 10,000 renovated units, spread across 11 states, is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager for a project in Newark, New Jersey. Project includes, renovation of all apartment interiors, common areas, roofing, exterior work, windows, elevators, sitework, etc.
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager who has the following attributes:
Essential Requirements:

Project Manager- Minimum 8-10 year’s extensive experience in renovations of occupied apartments (Preferred but not necessary)

Well-versed in the construction process and ability to coordinate sub-contractors daily.

Communicate both, verbally and in writing with all trades, Architects, Engineers and other agencies.

Prepare and monitor project schedule and change order logs;

Review and approve monthly payment applications submitted by contractors

Computer literate- knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Word, Project, Email.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Time to time to be able to manage emergencies at the job site.
Travel
Travel from home to the Site in Newark should be considered with the compensation request. All and any travel beyond the daily commute will be reimbursed based on industry standard.
Education and Experience
College degree in engineering preferred
Salary commensurate with experience
