Creek Lane Capital is a real estate investment firm based in Chicago, IL and affiliated with Walsh Construction. The company primarily partners with top tier developers to build and hold high quality multifamily, mixed use and office projects in select U.S. markets and will occasionally pursue opportunistic acquisitions.
Position:
Creek Lane Capital is seeking to hire a senior analyst to work closely with the firm’s principals and assist in all aspects of investment underwriting and management including analyzing, researching, and closing the investment transactions; asset management; portfolio management; and other assignments as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with our partners to create and maintain complex financial models for current and potential new investments
- Model partnership returns including waterfall calculations
- Actively participate in new investment due diligence and closing processes
- Assemble and maintain market research data
- Prepare investment committee materials
- Update quarterly and annual portfolio performance models
- Monitor and analyze property level performance
- Travel for site visits, due diligence, and partnership meetings
- Assist on other projects as required
Requirements:
- Highly motivated, detailed oriented, entrepreneurial individual
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions with a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or real estate
