INTRACORP IS LOOKING FOR A PROJECT ACCOUNTANT!

 

Intracorp, a well-established and dynamic Seattle-based Real Estate Development Company is seeking a Project Accountant who

will be accountable for monitoring the progress of projects (revenue and costs), submitting loan draw requests, preparing budget

variance reports and maintaining trial balances. This position manages financial reporting for 3-5 projects.

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Prepare and submit monthly construction loan draws to banks and equity investors.
  2. Communicate with banks and lenders regarding status of loans and fundings.
  3. Maintain project-related job cost and general ledger records.
  4. Prepare trial balances for projects and project-related entities.
  5. Review and approve all job-related invoices.
  6. Prepare and record journal entries for intercompany activity.
  7. Prepare and record entries for escrow closings.
  8. Produce monthly project variances reports and project proformas.
  9. Track debt balances, interest accrued, and remaining funding available for projects.
  10. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly project-related reports including financial statements to project investors and lenders.
  11. Compile information for external auditors as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting with detailed knowledge of and experience with construction accounting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Timberline/Sage Construction 300 software a plus. 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Able to establish and meet work priorities and deadlines.
  • At least two years of experience in project/construction accounting.
