Jamestown is recruiting for an Investor Relations Analyst in our Atlanta headquarters at Ponce City Market.

The Investor Relations Analyst supports the Institutional Investor Relations team’s work with existing investors.  In particular, the Analyst supports the team through the analysis of portfolio data and preparation of quarterly investor and consultant reporting materials including questionnaires and due diligence requests, most of which are in Excel and require gathering and calculating data.  The Analyst will work closely with both the investor relations and portfolio management teams. 

The Analyst must develop a thorough understanding of Jamestown, L.P.’s portfolio, strategies, services and global institutional investor base.  The ideal candidate should have a strong “can-do” attitude and must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented professional culture.   

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited institution; and
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field; or
  • Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. 

Job Functions 

  • Produce quarterly investor and consultant reporting materials including questionnaires and due diligence requests, most of which are in Excel and require gathering and calculating data
  • Prepare written responses to ad-hoc investor requests and questionnaires 
  • Provide exceptional and timely customer service to investors
  • Assist in the intake, processing and filing of new investor documents 
  • Maintain databases and tracking logs related to department functions and activities
  • Perform research and prepare reports for senior team members
  • Prepare materials for virtual and on-site investor meetings and asset tours 
  • Prepare detailed meeting notes
  • Proofread and edit documents 
  • Monitor and respond to investor inquiries received via the investor email inbox
  • Manage investor portal, including posting quarterly reporting documents, updating contact information and distribution lists
  • Evaluate current and potential processes to improve and determine best practices

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

Knowledge of:

  • MS Excel with a focus on organization of portfolio data using basic functions such as pivot tables, vlookup, sumif 
  • MS Word including formatting large documents
  • PDF 
  • CRM systems such as Salesforce, Juniper Square 
  • Videoconferencing systems such as Zoom, RingCentral

HOURS 

  • Real Estate professionals at Jamestown are generally expected to work overtime hours, to be available for evening and weekend work as needed, and to respond to requests promptly, asking, if necessary, for specific guidance on deadlines.
  • Some travel is expected when business travel resumes.
