About your role

You will be responsible for driving adoption of Juniper Square by the world's largest and most sophisticated institutional investors. Limited partners (LPs) use Juniper Square to reduce the burden of ingesting, aggregating and analyzing reporting from general partners (GPs), so that ultimately they have accurate and up-to-date information to guide their investment decisions. This role requires knowledge of private markets and familiarity with the current challenges of investor reporting combined with a strong desire to drive more efficient private markets reporting. 

What you'll do

  • Expand the number of institutional limited partners using Juniper Square’s network reporting tools 
  • Ruthless prioritize outreach to ensure a focus on reducing the burden of reporting for GPs and LPs 
  • Engage with industry groups to help share perspectives and recommendations for how to improve current reporting standards
  • Listen to customers, articulate business value, and negotiate win-win outcomes 
  • Become an expert in all things related to  Juniper Square’s Network Reporting product, investor pain points and portfolio needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to LPs during the evaluation and diligence phases of the sales process 
  • Collect detailed customer feedback throughout the sales cycle, and provide that feedback to the product, marketing and solutions engineering teams  
  • Craft credible and customized business value propositions for each prospective client 
  • Represent Juniper Square at industry events; acting as both a thought leader and solutions expert 

Qualifications

  • All-star performer that excels in all aspects of the role
  • 4+  years of experience in a business development and/or investor relations role, preferably in real estate private equity, financial SaaS or institutional consulting 
  • Real estate relationships and familiarity with private equity investing concepts both pluses
  • Exceptional listening skills and written and verbal communication skills 
  • Influential presence and the ability to quickly build trust and cultivate new relationships
  • Empathy for customers, and passion for helping them
  • Self-starter personality and comfort with ambiguity; ideal candidates will have experience working in rapidly-changing environments and adapting and contributing to evolving sales processes
  • Analytical and inquisitive by nature
  • Passionate about software and a knack for conveying it to those who aren’t
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (when it’s safe to do so)
