Acquisition Analyst

Thirty-year-old property investment company, focusing on the acquisition and ownership of creative office and multifamily properties in Los Angeles and San Francisco, is looking for a real estate analyst. Based in Beverly Hills, this company currently own 9 office buildings totaling 265,000 square feet in the West Los Angeles area, 4 office buildings totaling 159,000 square feet in San Francisco, and 19 creative apartment buildings containing 159 units in Northeast Los Angeles.  Our affiliated companies own a conventional apartment portfolio of approximately 900 units in Los Angeles County and the East Bay and 100 units on the westside of Los Angeles.  The company typically acquires in recoveries and sells and refinancing in late expansion.  The company in looking for a person to help define and execute its acquisition strategy in the post covid economy. 

Responsibilities

Conduct market studies and research

Prepare real estate financial projections using both Excel and Argus models.

Investigate and ferret out investment opportunities.

Conduct and coordinate property due diligence.

Coordinate efforts to sell and finance properties.

Negotiate sales and purchase agreements and loan documents.

Help invent and devise an investment, acquisition strategy for the recovery thru the early expansion.

Close loans, acquisitions, and sales.

Maintain database of comparable rents and sales and maintain deal tracking.

Respond to buyer, seller, and lender questions.

Build broker relationships and track local markets to source deals.

Qualifications

Must be proficient in Excel and Argus projections and modeling.

Brokerage experience very helpful

At least 2 years experience.

Experience in industrial and multifamily

Excellent analytical skills

Bachelors Degree
