Lead Financial Analyst – Healthcare Real Estate

ERE Healthcare Real Estate Advisors is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst focused on Healthcare Real Estate. The chosen candidate will have strong foundational knowledge of financial/valuation concepts, demonstrate a passion for real estate, work well in a dynamic team environment, and possess an entrepreneurial work ethic.


Responsibilities Overview:

• Build, edit, and manipulate complex financial cash flow models

• Analyze, review, and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, budgets, loan documents, operating statements, leases, and other due diligence material

• Research market conditions in support of financial underwriting assumptions

• Ability to play a role in presenting with lead broker in a formal client setting to audiences with a wide range of financial acumen

• Compile and present the results of analyses and effectively address questions

• Identify critical property level financial issues and make recommendations

• Exhibit strong writing skills to assist in developing investment overviews as well as tenant profiles

• Assist in the production of property offering memorandums used in marketing client real estate assets to prospective buyers

• Research and comprehend rent and sales comparables as part of the valuation process with an ability to call market participants (appraisers and brokers) to gather necessary information

• Coordinate collection of due diligence materials from clients and third parties

Qualifications

• Must have advanced knowledge and 2+ years of experience underwriting commercial real estate

• Bachelor's degree with high academic achievement in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred but not required

• Proven experience in abstracting lease agreements

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proven experience in the valuation of income-producing properties

• Intellectual curiosity with a demonstrated enthusiasm for the commercial real estate industry

• Process oriented and organized self-starter with sharp focus on details and an awareness of the bigger picture
