The Assistant Vice President, Capital Markets will be responsible for all designated tasks in support of the group’s capital raising, product development and client retention efforts for Berkshire Residential Investments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Product Formation:
  • Evaluate new business opportunities
  • Compile industry and competitive research, including an assessment of market terms and conditions
  • Assist with new product creation
  • Create and analyze fund models
  • Lead the production of marketing, due diligence and legal materials for current and future fund offerings
Capital Raise:
  • Professionally interact with prospective and existing clients
  • Create, edit, and update compelling marketing materials (e.g., marketing teasers, presentations, private placement memorandums)
  • Lead prospective investors through their investment and operational due diligence processes
  • Complete due diligence questionnaire requests and RFPs
  • Create unique and compelling analysis to initiate investor engagement
  • Support the client closing and onboarding processes
  • Produce deliverables to respond to ongoing investor and consultant information requests
  • Manage and coordinate the internal resources involved in the capital raise
Internal Support:
  • Help produce business plan and materials for the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with all members of the Capital Markets team
  • Mentor junior members of the Capital Markets team
  • Help drive technological advancement and adoption
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ real estate investment management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written, analytical and verbal communication skills
  • Significant Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word experience
  • Able to work independently, handle competing priorities and apply good judgment
  • Smart, energetic, and a team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and mature conduct with senior management
Physical Requirements: (amount of standing, walking, sitting, typing, lifting etc.)
  • Ability to sit for periods of time to work on the computer
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs - Travel with luggage
Vision Requirements: (Visual needs for the position – color, small details, inspections etc.)
  • Constant need to see small detail and observe activity
  • Constant need to see things clearly beyond arm’s reach

Driving Requirements: (Driving needs for the position – from property to property, travel, etc.)
  • Some when traveling to office locations
