Private Capital, LLC is a private real estate investment firm headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. Talon has a collection of local high net worth private families and institutional partners that seek to acquire quality assets throughout Puget Sound, Portland and Texas. Since formation in late 2009, Talon has acquired or joint ventured on 21 existing assets totaling more than $1 billion and two development sites totaling 1.2 million rentable square feet. Additionally, Talon has served as an asset manager of over 3.5 million square feet of office assets for major institutional investors.

Talon is seeking an experienced Leasing and Marketing Coordinator who will assist with the overall leasing and marketing of Talon’s portfolio. This position will work closely with the Senior Director of Leasing on proposal preparation, ensuring accuracy of leasing materials, coordinating with outside leasing brokers and executing the marketing strategies for Talon’s properties. The ideal candidate for this position must be detail oriented, creative, have a strong work ethic and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven and community oriented.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the implementation of strategic marketing plans, programs and tactics for Talon assets;
• Review and coordinate marketing collateral, ads, campaigns and make recommendations to senior staff for best in class marketing programs and technologies;
• Assist in the design and development of branded marketing collateral;
• Serve as point of contact and liaison with outside agencies to gather information and facilitate various requests;
• Assist Leasing Director with drafting leases, proposals and counter-proposals, including extensive writing and editing;
• Coordinate leasing due diligence for new potential acquisitions;
• Prepare lease-related materials and processing documents in an accurate and timely manner;
• Establish and maintain an electronic and paper filing system for tenants within the portfolio;
• Assist in the development and implementation of leasing strategies;
• Assist with the maintaining of a database of pertinent market-related data for markets in which acquisitions or dispositions of multifamily, commercial, industrial or land assets are currently owned or may be contemplated;
• Assist with reviewing real estate publications required to analyze market conditions and disseminate to team members and clients;
• Organize and participate in periodic vendor/client meetings and/or calls;
• Coordinate broker events and tours with prospective tenants;
• Maintain confidential information and files in accordance with internal procedures;
• Prepare travel arrangements, organize meetings, social events and maintain calendars/schedules;
• Provide advanced administrative support.

This position requires travel to assets with most travel within the Puget Sound region – 10%

REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• At least four years of experience in a commercial real estate environment (brokerage firm, title company, mortgage banker, law firm or developer);
• Associates degree preferred; or equivalent experience noted above;
• Familiarity with and understanding of (and ability to review and abstract) standard real estate documents such as contracts, easements and restrictive covenants, estoppel certificates and leases;
• Proven experience creating and editing marketing material for investment real estate;
• Willingness to learn and undertake new tasks outside of prior experience with enthusiasm and confidence;
• Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with little oversight;
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with tact and diplomacy;
• Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, real estate brokers, external partners and investors;
• Excellent ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with proper professionalism;
• Fluent in all necessary technology; primarily Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), DocuSign, Adobe Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus but not mandatory;
• Self-motivated, disciplined and flexible with ability to adapt to change;
• Commitment to high professional ethical standards;
• Willingness to study for and obtain Washington State Real Estate license;
• Strong interest in long-term industry growth and the investment real estate market.
