The Ikigai Group of Companies is purposely structured to control the entire development process, from customer acquisition to land development, project financing, procurement, construction, and delivery under the umbrella of its vertically integrated business operations framework.

Modments is rapidly expanding and is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support the development efforts in our Alpharetta office. The position has broad exposure to Multi-family and Land asset types in markets across the United States. The analyst will work closely with the Director of Research to develop innovative research methodologies, execute data acquisition strategies and build holistic market knowledge and intelligence. The analyst will be responsible for conducting research, curating and maintaining datasets, and interpreting a variety of economic, demographic, and market-based data. The analyst will assist in performing data audits to ensure the delivery of high-quality data essential to our due diligence process.

Duties And Responsibilities:

- Perform economic and demographic research to identify target markets and possible investments
- Collect and verify data for potential site acquisition and development opportunities including, but not limited to: ownership, zoning, permits, environmental regulations, future supply, and comparable rent and sale data
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database to develop deep industry and market intelligence. Leverage proprietary data and external resources to evaluate market risks and opportunities.
- Monitor market fundamentals and investigate the impact of new supply and various macroeconomic factors. Identify and translate trends into thoughtful deliverables, including quarterly market insight reports and project feasibility studies.
- Supports ad hoc research and/or analysis as necessary
- Audit deliverables of junior analysts for errors. Identify potential areas of training.
- Foster relationships with real estate professionals including: city, county and state officials, brokers, property management, and ownership groups to obtain timely information about potential or existing sites
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics or related field
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Driven individual with a desire to succeed in a team-based, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate an investigative and persistent attitude
- 3-5 years of related experience in commercial real estate
