As Realty Income’s Director, Talent Development, you will be tasked with championing employee growth and inclusion throughout our organization. Your desire to engage, coach, and encourage performance results will be chief in this role. Your Contribution to the Team Includes:

Talent Development

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, and execute the company’s talent development strategy
  • Build and iterate parts of the Corporate Talent System – such that the performance, learning, succession, and career management drive productivity, engagement and performance
  • Utilizing expertise in coaching and ethics to provide coaching, mentoring and partnership to executives, internal leaders, emerging leaders, and employees alike.
  • Takes the lead on consulting on employee engagement survey analysis, results communication, and action planning initiatives
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies as to how those items impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the company’s talent

 

Diversity and Inclusion

  • Partner with SVP, HR to support and deliver effective employee advocacy, career success support, recruiting execution and leadership development training and programs
  • Co-create and launch initiatives focused on creating a culture of inclusion that drives retention strategies
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support attraction and hiring of talent for key destination/critical roles

 

 Leadership Development

  • Lead and continue to iterate the Mentorship Program to incorporate diversity and inclusion, support existing and emerging leaders and deliver relevant content for growth
  • Help design and implement leadership and management development programs from frontline to executive leaders
  • Partner with the SVP HR and Department Heads to manage succession, slates, and readiness for roles within the organization
  • Proactively identify, track and recommend talent to fill key vacancies and support long-term growth strategies using systems and tools
  • Champion top talent and guide individual development plans to maximize experience, skill, and readiness for next role
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization with management and the employees in order to be an effective listener and solution finder of talent optimization
  • Manages employee development program budgets and annual forecasting

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
  • Minimum of 3 years coaching background
  • Experience of 5+ years in an internal OD Consultant or Practitioner role.
  • Experience of 3+ years leading Talent Management processes with a talent management system leveraging technology to manage programs such as talent assessments & reviews, succession planning, talent designations, career pathing, Ultipro system experience preferred
  • Experience building a company-wide learning organization infrastructure
  • Preferred prior experience as an internal OD consultant, coach or practitioner
  • Preferred experience in a training & development organization
  • Ability to execute in ambiguous situations and take the lead without explicit instructions
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to large groups and very senior levels of management
  • Experience creating training using various authoring tools, experience implementing and/or managing LMS systems, tools and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to build broad-based relationships and trust across departments
  • Instructional design experience implementing learning strategies with a focus on improving leadership, organizational learning across a decentralized company
  • Knowledge of leadership development/management training needs with an ability to apply adult learning theories to employee programs
  • Exhibit a high degree of integrity, credibility, curiosity, and results orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand business, organizational, and cultural drivers.
  • Think and act holistically to help create differentiated value for business leaders and internal customers.
  • An optimistic outlook with the ability to work hard and have fun!
