Opportunity

The Office Team is looking for a full-time Associate in its San Francisco office, for immediate start. 

Our Associate program is designed for recently promoted Analysts, professionals with 3-4 years of relevant industry experience or experienced MBA or Master’s degree graduates from highly ranked programs. As an ES Associate, you will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to work within a team that is dedicated to a specific product type or business line, allowing you to develop expertise in your discipline. This position also involves a significant role in business transactions including client and investor communication, supervision of analysts and the underwriting.

Responsibilities

The individual would assume significant responsibilities that may include:

• Working closely with senior team members on presentations and financial analysis
• Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution
• Participating in and, in some cases, leading client meetings, management meetings, due diligence visits, site tours, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key industry executives and senior team members
• Conducting research, participating in strategic planning and idea generation, and assisting in the execution of strategic advisory services
• Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
• Mentoring and training Analysts

Qualifications
The individual must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. The individual will be required to manage multiple significant projects simultaneously, working effectively both as an individual unit and as part of a multi-functional team. 

• 2-3 years of commercial real estate investment banking experience
• An MBA or Master’s degree preferred but not required
• Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance
• Superior Financial analysis, Excel modeling, and ARGUS Enterprise skills
• Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of deals using financial modeling techniques and strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to take on significant responsibility with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
• Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive and detail-oriented
• An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
