JOB SUMMARY

The designer will work alongside the Client's design and brand team in Atlanta to design experiential, branded environments and collateral for the headquarters and offices across the globe.

The designer must be able to translate business objectives through design intent. Story telling through design is a critical aspect of the role. A key focus of this role is preparing production-ready artwork for vendors, clients and printers. The designer will also develop, manage and own the creative repository of assets for the Client brand team and continually seek content to expand the repository

As a designer they will create diverse designs for a variety of internal partners while simultaneously collaborating across the team and organization. Will work alongside the Client Design Manager on the concept and execution of assigned projects, and you must be able to bring the brand to life with speed and conviction. Keen attention to detail, organizational acumen and time management is key. Digital design experience or interest is a plus.
This role is about creating value for Client, by effectively using the power of Design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CONCEPTING: Create working drawings, storyboards, layouts, mood boards, and mockups to evaluate and present ideas.

DESIGN: Create outstanding designs to demonstrate concepts in support of strategies developed for assigned projects. Efficiently manage presentation documents, digital assets, print assets, and all other creative components on assigned projects. Strong knowledge of fundamental visual communication strategy and executional skills is key.

PRESENTATION: Present concepts and designs with polished and professional visual tools. Must be able to present well in front of large groups and leadership.

COMMUNICATION: Coordinate with internal teams leading up to and during activations to ensure approved creative materials are delivered on a timely basis, while maintaining consistency and quality.

STRATEGIC: Must be strategic, yet have the ability to craft the 'design detail.'

TEAM PLAYER: Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible and adaptable attitude and must be able to collaborate with a variety of key-stakeholders.

INNOVATIVE: Current knowledge of industry trends and standards in the design field. Outside the box innovative thinking. Seek out inspiration and share insights with internal teams to help educate and inspire

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to coworkers within a work unit and/or project.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

3+ years industry/agency experience in Design.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or similar discipline.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires ability to do project budgets and cost estimates.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires basic analytical and quantitative skills

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Expertise in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is required. Expert knowledge of print techniques, print file prep, proofs, and print standards is a must. General knowledge of

Keynote is a nice to have. AE general skills is a bonus.

Articulate design solutions to team members and clients succinctly and effectively.

Translate business strategies into tangible project design deliverables.

Embody a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-pace and dynamic workplace.

Impeccable design fundamentals.

Strong typography skills is recommended.

A resourceful problem solver with a positive attitude.

Highly organized, keen attention to detail.

Must be self-motivated with an agile mindset.

Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Spanish is a plus.

Must have a solid grasp of fundamental concepts of print and web publishing and graphic design principles.

Basic project management, editing and writing skills required.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to coworkers and supervisor.
