JOB SUMMARY:
 

The Senior Director, Business Development and Marketing is responsible for working with brokerage professionals and clients to develop pitches, presentations and campaigns for new business efforts, property marketing and sales. In addition, this leader will manage and execute the marketing needs for the New York office through close collaboration with both regional marketing teams across the nation and the brand design, PR and research teams in New York.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Business Development and Property Marketing
  • Helm the marketing arm of NKF’s business development presentation and property marketing efforts
  • Create, implement and promote a business development platform and methodology to drive revenue growth and client engagement
  • Create strategic, customized collateral for new pursuits and renewal contracts (most commonly written proposals, RFP responses, and presentations)
  • Provide overall project management for presentations/pursuits from inception to completion
  • Execute integrated campaigns in support of lead generation and digital activities, including social media/web presence and engagement, email marketing, etc.

Management and Integration

  • Develop annual marketing plan and KPIs based on the needs of focused business areas
  • Lead the development of best-in-class tools and processes to effectively mobilize talent and resources, manage workflow and ensure the marketing and business development teams are driving toward a cohesive vision
  • Create a team environment that empowers and encourages creativity, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement, including professional mentorship, coaching and development of team members

Marketing and Client Engagement Strategy

  • Support internal communication strategies by partnering with marketing leads, brand design and management
  • Create and maintain all marketing collateral, including templates and off-the-shelf presentations, ensuring execution and integration of Newmark’s brand strategy and design expression across materials
  • Provide design support and materials for internal meetings, presentations and strategy documents

Research Promotion

  • Activate research through line of business and specialty services marketing collateral, communications and events
  • Partner with research to develop, promote and distribute reports and internally and externally

Local Market Connectivity

  • Partner with local and regional pursuit teams to drive core sales content (baseline, case studies, testimonials, etc.) and identify/solve content needs
  • Create and promote marketing best practices and opportunities at a local and regional level
  • Develop and deploy client engagement collateral
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, graphic design, or related field
  • 12-15+ years experience guiding creatives and writers for marketing and business development through compelling results
  • Prior track record of leading and managing the development and implementation of creative initiatives
  • Significant experience and practical expertise in marketing, strategy, and visual design, as well as a high competency for managing a team on the most complex of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills, and a detail-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Prior commercial real estate experience a plus
